In a statement, the command’s spokesperson, Superintendent of Police (SP), Grace Iringe-Koko, informed the state’s voters that the command was dedicated to advancing the rule of law and ensuring that those personnel found responsible were suitably sanctioned.


The cops are presently in police custody, according to her.


She, on the other hand, asked the locals to remain calm and await the official release of the results.


“After the virality of a video that revealed the involvement of several police officers operating in a pickup vehicle with the inscription “RRT 050″ in alleged election fraud, the Rivers State Police Command arrested and detained one officer and three inspectors for questioning.”
