Parliament Suspension| Sad News Pours In For Julius Malema and The EFF

When the EFF causes problems, lawmakers step in. Magwenya argues that the disruptive behavior of EFF legislators should be dealt with by the Parliament using its rules and procedures.

Magwenya made this announcement at a Sunday news conference. This follows Thursday night’s State of the Nation Address in Cape Town, during which African Transformation Movement and Economic Freedom Fighters leader Vuyo Zungula was forcibly removed from the building. Magwenya claims that Ramaphosa maintained his composure throughout the entire night.

CONGRESSIONAL STANDARDIZATION BASED ON BEHAVIORAL STATE

He described the EFF’s disruptive behavior in parliament during the State of the Nation Address as a “unfortunate and unsettling” recurrent aspect of the speech. This includes the President’s speech regarding the Congressional budget vote and other legislative issues. The Washington Post concluded that the President’s “spirited and focused manner in which he presented his state of the nation speech” proved that he “remains accountable to the people for the work of his government.” Magwenya claims that the president is making significant efforts to solve the country’s issues.

Intended to pursue legal remedies

And then he said the party would go to court, so it sounds like Malema is serious. Before she can remove me from the legislature, she must call my name three times and issue me three warnings. Malema said this happens when people put their feelings ahead of Parliament’s norms. EFF leader Julius Malema has demanded that Speaker of the National Assembly Nosiviwe Mapisa-Nqakula issue a public apology. A formal apology is required within 48 hours or legal action may be pursued.
