As the 2023 presidential race is fast approaching, political leaders have been working seriously for the success of their parties in the forthcoming presidential race.

However, there are indications that some states may not be an easy ride for both the All Progressives Congress APC and the Peoples Democratic Party PDP in the forthcoming presidential race due to some factors.

One of the states that might not be an easy ride for the All Progressives Congress APC and PDP in the forthcoming presidential race, is Osun state.

Recently, the Peoples Democratic Party PDP won the Governorship election in the state. Many Nigerians, within and outside Osun state believed that the All Progressives Congress APC, lost the Governorship election due to the internal crisis in the party.

It should be recalled, that the former Governor of the state, Gboyega Oyetola who was also the Governorship candidate in the last Governorship election and the minister of interior, Rauf Aregbesola who was his predecessor, were not in good terms and this was one of the reasons why APC lost the election.

However, the Peoples Democratic Party PDP has all the resources at her disposal to influence the forthcoming presidential race and they will do everything possible to win the forthcoming elections.

Meanwhile, the All Progressives Congress may also use the federal might to ensure, that APC win the forthcoming presidential race.

It should be recalled that the former Governor of the state, Gboyega Oyetola made it known to the public, that APC will deliver one million votes for the APC presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

was reported by Punch that the former Governor stated this, when he received youths that participated in a march tagged Tinubu/Shettima 2023 at his campaign office, when he was still the Governor of the state.

Another point is that the Osun Progressives TOP members of the All Progressives Congress APC, recently dissolved the movement and collapsed the structure, fully into the party.

This means that the TOP members will work for the success of the APC in the forthcoming presidential race.

Meanwhile, the former chairman of the PDP in the state, Hon Sunday Bisi who is the coordinator of Atiku/Okowa presidential committee in the state, made it known to the public that the party will do everything possible to win 2023 presidential race.

It should be recalled that the Governor of the state, has just been appointed as the chairman of the Atiku/Okowa campaign coordinating committee in the southwest.

This will also help the party to do everything possible to win 2023 presidential race because the Governor will not want to lose the his state.

Another state that might also be a battle ground in 2023 presidential race is Oyo state. The Governor of the state, Governor Seyi Makinde is among the G-5 Governors, who are working against the PDP presidential candidate.

However, some leaders of the PDP have dissociate themselves from the Governor’s opinion that he may not work for the presidential candidate of the party, if the national chairman of the party fail to resign his position.

It was reported by vanguard that Leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP have declared to the public, that they are not in support of the Governor for endorsing another presidential candidate of different political party in the forthcoming presidential race.

It should be recalled, that Governor Makinde was allegedly declaring his support for the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress APC, instead of the presidential candidate of the PDP.

Meanwhile, some leaders of the PDP, had earlier dumped the party for the All Progressives Congress APC in the state. Among them, is the former Deputy Governor in the state, Engr Rauf Olaniyan.

In Nutshell, Both the Leaders of the All Progressives Congress APC and the Peoples Democratic Party PDP, will use every resources in their capacity to ensure the victory of their political parties in the forthcoming presidential race.
