The presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi recently had a town hall meeting with some young people/students in Port Harcourt where he discussed on issues of nation and his candidacy for the 2023 general election.

While addressing the students, he told them that what they’re doing is new among the candidates as he claimed that other candidates would be too busy to have their time.He also asserted that where they’ll be needed would be only on election day where they’ll pay them money to vote and go home.

He said;

“It’s not easy to do what we are doing today because no presidential candidate have called you people like this. Where would they even have time for you in the morning… You’re just a tool for the day of election, to give you two thousand each so you’ll vote and go home. Now they may have increased it to five thousand naira. And then you won’t have jobs just like he said.”
